Laura and Vito’s love story began in August of 2023. Laura had been regularly attending a women's book club in Austin since early that year. Every Tuesday night, the group would meet at a coffee shop to discuss a new book and to catch up on each others’ lives. One August evening, Holly, a fellow book club member took a photo of the group to commemorate one of their regular events and posted it to social media. Vito, a friend of Holly and her husband, saw the post and something about Laura drew him in. He did something he wouldn’t normally dare to do, and decided to message Holly to ask a little more about Laura and to see if she was seeing anyone at the moment. Holly approached Laura and asked if she’d be interested on being setup on a date. Like one of the romance novels in their book club, Laura agreed to the blind date and the next chapter began.

Laura and Vito’s first date was spent hiking and sharing breakfast tacos (the way most great relationships in Austin begin). Of course, Marley, Laura’s golden retriever was present… to ensure that Vito hit the mark and understood who Laura’s other leading man was. The three have been hiking, dining out, traveling, and enjoying breakfast tacos together ever since.

Laura and Vito can’t wait to continue their love story this fall, with a wedding celebrated with friends and family in their hometown and the place they fell in love- Austin, Texas. And yes, Marley approves :)
